Calling All of My Fellow ADHD Girlies!
It’s that time of year again—we need to buy a new planner. And I don’t know about you, but I have very specific planner needs. So, I did a huge deep dive on Amazon to find exactly what I was looking for, and guess what? I may have found the perfect planner. Let’s dive into it!
First off, she’s pink. But don’t worry if you’re not a pink girly like me; she comes in other colors too.
Here’s what I need in a planner:
- A separate page for every single day. I mean one full, dedicated page for every single day.
- This one has a full schedule from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM, broken down by the hour. You can jot down every little task, every meeting—everything you’ve got to do is on here. Fight that time paralysis, girly!
Over here, you’ve got your priorities:
- These are the top-notch things that maybe you don’t want to do, but need to get done first. Because we all know our little ADHD brains will say, “I know that taxes were due like, three months ago, but you can put it off until tomorrow.” Now, you’re gonna put that right up here—priorities.
Then down here is all the other little to-dos:
- Like washing your hair, folding that laundry that’s been sitting in the dryer for a week—all that stuff you can put down here.
The fact that I can just fill in the date and circle the day of the week, without feeling shame every time I open my planner and realize there are so many pages that I will never use—because I didn’t use it on that day of the year—makes you feel so much more productive and like you have your life together. You know what I mean?
But I also need to be able to look at my monthly overview—birthdays to remember, events to remember, appointments, vacations, travel—anything! And a lot of the daily planners that Amazon offers do not have month pages. So that’s what really made this one the perfect planner for me.
You’ve got a page for every single day. You can fill in your own date and everything, and you can see your month as a whole. Writing everything down and having a physical to-do list in a physical planner is really important when it comes to managing my ADHD.
Okay, anyway, I’m gonna link it on my Amazon store. I hope this helps, because I have never been more excited about a planner in my life!
